We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Workplace team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with partners Catherine Wilkinson and Emma Gruschka to provide expert advice and representation to employers on workplace matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and represent employers on the management of workplace issues, including unfair dismissals, general protections claims, discrimination claims, bullying and harassment.
- Work on matters before various courts and tribunals, with opportunities to appear before different courts and tribunals and advise on internal and external investigations.
- Collaborate with our national team and engage with other practice groups to achieve cohesive outcomes.
- Develop your skills working onsite with clients due to regular secondment opportunities.
About You
We are looking for an individual with at least 6+ years' experience in workplace law, with a strong understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act. You will have full carriage of matters and experience dealing with a range of files for employers, including the management of disciplinary issues, unfair dismissals, and assisting in responding to safety incidents.
