Lead a High-Performing Team in Orthopaedics/Rehab
St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a skilled Nurse Unit Manager to join our team in the Orthopaedics/Rehab Department at the Mater Hospital in North Sydney. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the unit, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
- Conduct Performance Appraisal.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in specialty
- Post graduate qualification in clinical nursing or management or working towards
