About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As an aged care professional with this organisation, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of older adults
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised care plans that promote patient independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and care provided

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Minimum 12 months of recent experience in acute medical/surgical wards in Australia or reciprocal countries (New Zealand, Canada, USA, UK and Ireland)
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or equivalent
  • Provision of two recent clinical referees
  • Flexible availability across day shifts, including weekends
  • Ability to travel to various locations within the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region
