Maintenance Leadership Position

Pit N Portal invites a motivated Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Overseeing the planning, scheduling, servicing, and maintenance of company assets.
  • Providing true leadership and mentoring to your team.
  • Leading from the front and by example, offering practical advice, direction, and feedback to maintenance crews and support staff.
  • Working collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance practices across site.
  • Actively demonstrating and promoting a high level of safety awareness and encouraging safe work practices.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role effectively leading a mobile maintenance team in an underground mining environment.
  • Highly experienced across all areas in the comprehensive maintenance of underground mobile equipment, including breakdowns, diagnostics, and repairs.
  • A sound understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce them, as well as a sound knowledge of equipment safety legislation.
  • Strong computer skills and literacy, with experience using Pronto or a similar system highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build successful and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, a valid C Class Manual Driver's Licence, and a Current First Aid Certificate. They must also be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen and hold Working Rights within Australia.
