We are seeking an experienced locum social worker with a strong background in rural generalist social work. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and efficiently within a small multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality care and support to clients.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Providing social work services to clients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and review
  • Working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Registered as a social worker with AASW eligibility
  • Has experience working in aged care settings, particularly with clients over 65 years old
  • Is conversant with relevant legislation and policy frameworks
  • Can work effectively in a hospital setting, including inpatient and mental health services
