We are currently seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Commercial Contract Manager. This position involves working closely with our commercial team to provide expert advice on contractual matters and ensure seamless project execution.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing key support to our commercial manager, including contract formation, commercial correspondence, and leading discussions in regular contractor meetings. Key responsibilities include advising on contractual obligations, administering main contracts, entitlement for cost and time, adapting template subcontracts, supply agreements, and hire agreements for compliance with project-specific main contracts, reviewing, amending, and negotiating departures from subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers of plant, equipment, materials, and labor, resolving contentious subcontract negotiations, claims, and disputes, delivering and managing contract and subcontract administration, developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and subcontractors.

Key Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Law, Commerce, or related field
  • 6+ years' experience in contracts management or commercial management within civil construction/infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience with major contract forms (AS series, NEC, FIDIC) and alliance delivery models
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation, variation management, and dispute resolution
  • Experience leading and mentoring commercial/contracts teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across contractors, consultants, and client representatives
