
Family Relationship Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Practitioner to join our team of professionals in Family and Relationships Services.
About the Role:This position provides high-quality family and relationship counselling to individuals, couples, and families, including children. The successful candidate will help clients navigate life transitions, strengthen relationships, and promote positive family outcomes.
- Conduct client intake, risk, and needs assessments for all clients.
- Apply knowledge of life span and development theory to support individuals, couples, and families through transitions such as relationship formation, marriage, separation, remarriage, parenthood, parenting children of different ages, and retirement.
- Utilise a systems theory framework and evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve their service delivery goals.
- Recommend tailored interventions based on clients' presenting issues, history, risk assessment, the impact on children, and their service delivery goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and understand its limits in the context of clinical risk management and duty of care.
The successful candidate will be a compassionate and skilled practitioner passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges. They will possess solid experience in couples counselling and a strong understanding of family dynamics and evidence-based interventions.
The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience and theoretical knowledge of Family Systems theories, evidence-based interventions for couples' relationship work, developmental psychological theories, and practice frameworks for working with family violence.
About You:- Possess appropriate undergraduate qualifications in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Counselling or Social Work.
- Demonstrated experience and theoretical knowledge in application of Family Systems theories, evidence-based interventions for couples' relationship work, developmental psychological theories, and practice frameworks for working with family violence.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary package, including $87,000 - $102,000 per annum, plus superannuation, salary packaging options of up to $15,900 per year, and generous parental leave.
