Emergency Management Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM) in a dynamic leadership role.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior officials to develop and manage a risk-based emergency management framework for the state, ensuring adequate frontline services are provided to support and protect the community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing the Emergency Management Framework;
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders to initiate sector improvements and maintain key capabilities;
  • Engaging with volunteer associations and unions to ensure effective representation and collaboration.
