Reporting Data Analyst

The Australian Government seeks a skilled Reporting Data Analyst to play a critical role in managing grant data and gifts and benefits information.

">

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to challenge themselves in a unique environment and gain valuable experience with:

">

- Data capture into central registers of gifts and benefits data, including SharePoint registers; and grants data, including maintenance of grants reporting systems and drawing of data from sources such as Excel reports and financial systems.

">

- Ensuring accuracy of data through assurance activities;

">

- Preparing data and undertaking analysis to produce high-level briefs and reports;

">

- Delivering on reporting requirements to senior executives and meeting external obligations;

">

- Maintaining accurate records on Grant Connect database as required;

">

- Developing productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including all groups and services, grant program areas, and Departmental teams;

">

- Working within a cohesive team and providing day-to-day support to Assistant Directors;

">

- Using research and problem-solving skills to resolve issues as they arise;

">

- Implementing process improvements and developing standard operating procedures.
