Senior Food Safety Specialist

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in championing our Food Safety Program and driving excellence in compliance, assurance, and capability development.
About The Role:- You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving our Food Safety Management System.
- Working closely with Village Operations, you will ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and customer expectations—ultimately safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff.
- Deliver expert food safety and hygiene training to site teams
- Support catering and site managers in applying food safety requirements
- Promote awareness and escalate food safety issues across all levels
- Monitor compliance to meet customer expectations
- Provide authoritative advice on food safety matters
- Develop and maintain comprehensive food safety documentation and training materials
- Conduct internal audits and support third-party inspections
- Lead assurance activities and food safety investigations
- Perform microbiological sampling and testing
- Report on system performance and recommend enhancements
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality, food safety, or quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of microbiology, food safety controls, and legislation
- Experience with HACCP / ISO 22000 and internal audits
