Marine Service Coordinator

The Boat Works is Australia's leading and most innovative marine facility, located in the heart of the Gold Coast Marine Precinct.

A proudly family-owned business since the 1980s, operating across 55 acres, offering world-class services to both domestic and international vessels. With over 100 marine businesses onsite and more than 1,000 people working within the precinct each day, The Boat Works is a vibrant hub of marine trades, boat sales, retail, and hospitality, all in a resort-style, community-focused facility.

Job Description

  • Coordinate vessel bookings for haul-outs, returns and marina stays
  • Communicate with a wide range of customers, and on-site tenants via email, phone and walk-ins
  • Manage inbound calls, emails, two-way radios and face-to-face enquiries
  • Take payments, quote, invoice and perform general administrative duties
  • Schedule vessels movements and bookings
  • Use Marina Master software, along with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Foundation of marine knowledge, understanding boats and the industry is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a broad customer base
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, customer-focused attitude with solid administrative capabilities
  • Previous experience using Marina Master (or similar) is highly desirable
