We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Fellow to join our team in the Cities Research Institute. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on coastal environments.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in coastal engineering, coastal management, or a related field. They will be responsible for carrying out applied research activities with a team of scientists and engineers working on projects that support the development of effective management strategies for coastal environments.

Some key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Carrying out research projects related to coastal erosion assessment and management;">
  • Providing technical support to research projects undertaken by the team;">
  • Developing and implementing coastal process models (e.g. XBeach, SWAN, DELFT3D) to inform management decisions;">
  • Collaborating with other researchers and stakeholders to achieve project goals;">

Key Qualifications:
