Job Description

\

We are seeking a Casual Kitchen Steward to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchens, maintaining a constant supply of equipment and clean utensils for food and beverage outlets, and undertaking general kitchen duties such as collecting rubbish, maintaining bin cleanliness and undertaking additional cleaning tasks and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role in a kitchen environment, take pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchens and food preparation areas\
  • Ensure adequate supply of equipment and clean utensils for food and beverage outlets\
  • Collect and dispose of rubbish, maintain bin cleanliness and undertake additional cleaning tasks and schedules\
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to support the food and beverage operation\
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and management\
  • Contribute to a positive and enthusiastic work environment\
