Cyber Security Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Lead to drive assurance activities across our organisation, bringing deep technical security expertise to ensure systems, services, and products meet rigorous compliance and security standards.

This high-impact role leads strategic initiatives to enhance cyber security governance, risk management, and compliance capabilities, directly influencing how digital assets are protected and trust with stakeholders is maintained.

The successful applicant will provide expert technical guidance to ensure all systems, services, and products adhere to established security compliance standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the implementation of a cyber security framework aligned with industry standards and strategic goals.
  • Executing assurance activities in line with our cyber security strategy, frameworks, and operating model.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and managing cyber security risks across digital assets, services, and third-party vendors.
  • Leading the design and delivery of cyber security solutions and related initiatives.
  • Reporting on cyber security performance, including key metrics, to senior leadership.
  • Developing and enforcing cyber security controls, policies, and operational playbooks.
  • Coordinating and leading responses to cyber security incidents, including investigation and mitigation.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or IT certification in a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in leading cyber security governance, initiatives, and providing high-level advice to senior management.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with key cyber security standards such as VPDSS and Essential 8.
  • Experience in managing and responding to cyber incidents.
