Day Production Operations Manager

Seeking a motivated and experienced Day Team Leader to lead a team in ensuring safe and efficient production of activities within the department. This is a residential role based in Port Pirie, South Australia, operating on a days-only roster.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and support to resolve day-to-day issues impacting safety, environmental compliance, and production.
- Facilitate and assist with business improvement initiatives.
- Manage production variance processes.
- Develop team members, plan for succession, and maintain operational flexibility.
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping, hygiene, fume, and dust suppression within the work area.
- Proven experience as a Team Leader (current or previous).
- Strong knowledge of personnel management, organisational change, process improvement, and communication principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve workflow targets.
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and their application in a production environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP.
- Familiarity with asset management processes.
