The Role
Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures over 50 milk, milk-based, and cream products, sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site produces approximately 33 million liters annually, operating 6 days a week with around 50 employees.

This role involves 12-hour shifts: 6 days on, 7 days off. Start times vary from 3:30 AM, 4:30 AM, to 7:30 AM depending on the assigned line.

Responsibilities
  • Operating machinery, including setting up machines and fault finding
  • Warehouse duties, including forklift operation
  • Recording and reporting production data, including downtime sheets
  • Maintaining cleanliness of production areas to meet quality standards
  • Following safety and quality policies and procedures
About you
  • Experience in food manufacturing preferred
  • Forklift license highly desirable
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, eager to learn
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Strong problem-solving skills
