About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Director to join our team at Greencross Vets. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical leadership and management to our veterinary hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and direction to our veterinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical standards, patient outcomes, and team performance.
  • Collaborate with our Area Manager, Regional Clinical Director, and state General Manager to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of veterinarians and support staff.
  • Manage the financial performance of the hospital, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, referral partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of post-graduation experience as a veterinarian, with a strong background in clinical leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
