Job Title: Qantas Agency Connect Sales Consultant

Are you a customer service or sales professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for travel and a desire to work with a dynamic team? We're seeking a Sales Consultant to join our Qantas Agency Connect team

About the Role:

As a Sales Consultant, you will provide expert advice and solutions on Qantas products, policies, fares, and ticketing to our Agency Partners. You will be responsible for processing all queries and requests with accuracy, utilizing all available information and resources. You will also advise our customers on all aspects and benefits of our products and services, and encourage and promote agent self-service via the Qantas Agency Connect site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent product, policy, fares, and ticketing advice and sales support to our agency partners.
  • Process all queries and requests with accuracy, utilizing all available information and resources.
  • Advise our customers on all aspects and benefits of our products and services.
  • Encourage and promote agent self-service via the Qantas Agency Connect site.
  • Collaborate with other departments as required to obtain the best outcome for Qantas and the customer.
Requirements:
  • A strong Customer Service or Sales background.
  • Sound working knowledge of Reservation systems, and knowledge of Travel Sales; extensive Travel Agency/Airline experience preferred.
  • Domestic and International consulting experience, with knowledge of airline products, policy, fares, and ticketing procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
  • The ability to Identify sales opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Recent experience in a contact centre environment with the ability to meet call-related KPIs will be highly regarded.
