Systems Engineer Role
The opportunity is to join a collaborative team working on multiple defence projects to leverage synergies between platforms. The role will contribute to the development of guided-missile destroyer requirements and the successful delivery of updated specifications.
The CSI-IPT Combat Systems Engineer will execute Combat System Systems Engineering activities, develop system functional and non-functional requirements, and support program milestones such as design reviews and test readiness reviews.
Flexible work arrangements may be considered for this role. A key requirement for the position is experience in systems engineering lifecycle methods, tools, and techniques. Familiarity with integration, test, and evaluation activities of naval platforms or complex military systems is also desirable.
Applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
About YouWe are looking for someone with skills and experience in:
- System engineering lifecycle methods, tools, and techniques
- Working in multi-disciplinary environments, preferably within the defence industry
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partnering organisations
- Development methodologies on complex modern systems
Bonus points if you have experience in combat system requirements, C4ISREW domains, or knowledge in one or more of the areas: Anti-Air Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Anti-Surface Warfare.
