  • Provide high-level communications advice to the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Leadership Team on key issues, policy matters, and implementation priorities to support Council objectives.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day management and ongoing development of Council's websites, ensuring content is accurate, well-written, and designed for maximum reach and impact.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns, delivering data insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate a SEO strategy to improve search engine rankings and develop performance metrics to support website engagement and performance.
  • Coach and influence staff to ensure behaviors align with Council's values.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications/Digital or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience leading a team and fostering a great culture.
  • Previous experience developing and implementing strategy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
  • Experience presenting information to senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new techniques/ways of working.
