Operations Supervisor Opportunity

At our dynamic logistics operation, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Supervisor to lead and manage a small crew.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive efficiency and productivity within our team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee container unloading operations to ensure safety, speed, and accuracy
  • Manage and develop team leaders and crew, promoting coaching, accountability, and trust in the process
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery
  • Plan workforce needs in advance, aligning rosters and resources with customer demand
  • Maintain a safety-first mindset, adhering to compliance standards and leading by example

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leading teams in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
  • Strong people skills, including motivation, accountability, and communication
  • A deep understanding of safe work practices and the ability to instil them into others
  • Confidence in using systems and tools to analyze performance, track results, and drive continuous improvements
  • Customer-focused approach, prioritizing customer expectations and delivering value
