eCommerce Manager: A High-Impact Role

Description

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a strong eCommerce professional to make a real impact with a well-established Australian retailer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the business website, as well as their agency, with a focus on ongoing improvements to better meet audience needs and drive engagement both online and in-store.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years' experience in an eCommerce role, preferably within a retail or B2C environment. They will possess a strong commercial focus, delivering sales results, and have solid experience across CRM & Email Marketing. Additionally, they will have a positive, collaborative attitude and be able to draw insights from data to implement changes that maximize sales, conversion rates, and average order values.

Responsibilities
  • Management of business website and agency, focusing on continuous improvement to enhance user experience and drive engagement
  • P&L management of the website and online store
  • Driving sales and profitability of the online store
  • Reporting and analysis of key performance indicators to maximize profitability
  • Maintenance of merchandising, promotions, and product availability to drive sales and conversion
  • Leading enhancement projects for eCommerce and fulfillment to increase efficiency
  • Ownership of email marketing and automation initiatives, including strategic planning, building, and refining automated email journeys to support customer retention and engagement
  • Management of website pages to ensure best practice UX
  • Overseeing digital marketing strategy to ensure effective return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Management of relationships with external digital agencies to ensure effective SEO, CRO & SEM plans and tactics
  • Management of online order fulfillment to refine costs and delivery lead times
  • Driving the company's omnichannel strategy and ensuring timely and budget-friendly rollout of all functionalities
  • Overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the CRM strategy to enhance customer relationships through personalized experiences
Qualifications
  • 5 years' experience in eCommerce, preferably within retail or B2C environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, delivering sales results
  • Solid experience across CRM & Email Marketing
  • Able to draw insights and implement changes to maximize sales, conversion rates, and average order values
  • Positive, collaborative attitude
