We are seeking talented graduates in the field of water infrastructure planning. As a Graduate in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Planning, you will be responsible for various technical tasks such as data collection and analysis, hydraulic modelling, GIS/mapping, design drawings, engineering calculations and reporting to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Development:
Undertake various technical tasks including feasibility studies, hydraulic capacity assessments, infrastructure augmentation optioneering and long-term strategic planning for water and wastewater systems.
Support the design of water infrastructure such as pipelines, tanks, pump stations and treatment plants.
- Site Evaluations:
Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project feasibility/constraints.
Analyse environmental, geological and survey data to inform project planning.
- Documentation and Communication:
Prepare technical reports, specifications and documentation for project approvals.
Ensure project documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of tender submissions.
- Collaboration and Professional Development:
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, environmental, structural, geotechnical and process engineers.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.
Represent the organization and engage with industry bodies.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- The ability to work effectively in a team.
- A passion for learning and problem-solving.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A good level of computer literacy including MS Word and Excel.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
