Nursing Education Specialist

Nursing Education Role:
The Nursing Education Specialist coordinates and delivers high-quality clinical nursing education programs at a ward/service level, providing clinical supervision to support the development of evidence-based nursing care. This role is critical in ensuring that registered nurses receive the necessary education and training to provide best practice patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive clinical education programs for registered nurses
- Provide expert clinical supervision and mentoring to enhance nurse competence and confidence
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events
- Contribute to the development of organisational policies and procedures to support quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree-qualified Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in Education or a relevant field
- Proven experience in a clinical education role or related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
