As a seasoned medical leader, you have the opportunity to drive innovation and excellence in prehospital and retrieval medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the clinical workforce within Aeromedical Operations ensuring safe and evidence-based critical care for prehospital and inter-hospital medical retrieval responses across NSW and the ACT.
- Provide expert clinical advice to senior executives and support the development of clinical policy objectives and care pathways.
- Ensure the medical workforce meets operational demands, is clinically effective, safe, credentialed and supported.
Working collaboratively with clinical staff, you will:
- Develop and implement innovative work practices that drive world-class aeromedical, retrieval and emergency management services.
- Forge strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including statewide, national, and international emergency services.
This rare opportunity allows you to redefine aeromedical excellence and drive clinical innovation and operational excellence.
Requirements- Accomplished medical leader with experience managing complex clinical operations in pre-hospital and retrieval medicine (PHRM) and critical care settings.
- Medical qualifications registrable with AHPRA.
- Additional qualifications in Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, or Anaesthesia.
- Eligibility for appointment as a Senior Staff Specialist under the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
Ideal applicants demonstrate strategic management skills, exceptional leadership, communication, and engagement capabilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
