This position works for our Structural Heart business. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
Responsibilities:- Achieve sales targets and increase market share for your assigned territory, while providing input to the overall performance of the state and ANZ SH business.
- Drive sales and develop initiatives proactively.
- Manage all aspects of customer relationships; engage senior leadership when necessary.
- Attend company sales meetings as required and contribute to sales meetings.
- Implement and execute sales force effectiveness initiatives to drive business growth and sales skills development, including strategic territory and account planning, customer profiles, and sales training.
- Use available sales analysis tools to assist with territory planning.
- Servicing customers within your territory using internal resources.
- Manage consignment stock.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and participate in education programs.
- Assist with product marketing and launches.
- Provide market feedback on products and competitor activity.
- Comply with customer service and administrative requirements within the required timeframe.
- Attend regular departmental meetings with relevant managers or supervisors to build continuous feedback mechanisms.
- Meet ISO requirements by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.
- Comply with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and work practices to prevent or minimize accidental exposures to yourself, colleagues, or the environment.
- Wear PPE provided by Abbott.
- Report accidents or incidents within 24 hours through Donesafe and notify your manager.
- Evaluate all activities carried out by yourself and others according to legislative employment policies, health & safety requirements, and global policy.
- Promote a standard of excellence for quality and customer focus at Abbott.
- Uphold the Abbott Code of Business Conduct.
- Embody Abbott Values – Pioneering, Achieving, Caring, Enduring.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Abbott standard operating procedures and policies, ensuring compliance.
- Ensure company-related activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical or Business Management fields.
Our estimate for this role's salary is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location.
