Clinical Mental Health Practitioner

Better Place Australia is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing high-quality community support services. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Mental Health Practitioner to join our Family Mental Health Support Service (FMHSS) team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide early intervention support to vulnerable families with children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of, developing mental illness.
- Deliver intensive, long-term case management support, including targeted psychoeducational group work.
- Offer short-term information, referral, coordination, and assistance for families and carers.
- Engage in community outreach, mental health promotion/education, and community development activities.
- Diploma of Community Services or other health/welfare-related area (minimum qualification).
- Bachelor's degree qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Psychology, or other health/welfare-related area (desirable).
- Professional work experience in the mental health field.
- Experience providing assessment, case management, and support to children, young people, and their families in the context of mental illness.
- Generous above award salary rates.
