About the Role

Better Place Australia is a leading not-for-profit organisation providing high-quality psychological and community support services across 13 locations in Victoria. We are seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Practitioner to join our Family Mental Health Support Service (FMHSS) team.

The successful candidate will provide early intervention support to vulnerable families with children and young people who are showing early signs of, or are at risk of, developing mental illness. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing intensive, long-term early intervention Case Management support
  • Offering short-term information, referral, coordination, and assistance for families and carers
  • Engaging in community outreach, mental health promotion/education, and community development activities

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Diploma of Community Services or a Bachelor's degree in a related field, along with relevant work experience in the mental health sector.
