About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Therapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing intervention services to our clients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and make a positive impact on the community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide intervention services to help clients achieve their goals, including improving daily living skills and enhancing participation in social, recreational, and vocational activities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care and support to clients.
  • Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs to rebuild lost skills and restore confidence.
  • Provide education and support to clients, their families, and caregivers about strategies to promote independence and manage their condition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists.
  • Experience in managing a designated caseload and working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population.
