Bolton Clarke is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hervey Bay, servicing the Wide Bay region.

This home and community care role will provide clinical support services to our valued clients in their own homes, enabling them to stay at home and remain independent for as long as possible.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills with the ability to seamlessly manage varying and/or conflicting stakeholder demands.

Duties:

  • Conduct home-based assessments, including all areas of activities (daily living, mobility, and home safety).
  • A focus on falls prevention and contribute to the continuous improvement of the overall program.
  • Develop care plans in consultation with the resident and their family to ensure we are providing the highest quality of care for each and every client.
  • Work to foster productive working relationships with relevant government departments, hospitals, key providers, and other specialist providers.
  • Previous relevant experience within an Aged or Community care environment.
  • Strong understanding of all relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care sector.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Occupational Therapist Registration with AHPRA.
