Job Opportunity: Corporate Advisory & Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Corporate Advisory & Mergers & Acquisitions Specialist. This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in corporate advisory and M&A transactions.

  • This position will involve working on high-profile transactions, providing critical support on commercial agreements, and collaborating with respected professionals to deliver strategic outcomes for clients.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and general commercial law matters.
  • A key aspect of this role is drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, advising on corporate restructuring and regulatory compliance, and representing clients before various regulators.
  • As part of the team, you will also contribute to business development activities and assist in the supervision and mentoring of junior lawyers and law graduates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions
  • Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Advising on corporate restructuring, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
  • Representing clients before various regulators, including FIRB, ACCC, and ASIC
  • Contributing to business development and marketing activities
  • Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and law graduates
