Senior Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced building code expert to leverage their skills and expertise in providing high-quality consultancy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering comprehensive building code services including assessments, compliance strategies, performance solutions, and reports.
  • Managing projects from inception to completion, encompassing scoping, programming, financial tracking, and variation management.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff, promoting technical consistency and team development.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for allocated projects, fostering strong relationships with architects, developers, certifiers, and contractors.
  • Contributing to proposal development, identifying cross-disciplinary opportunities, and representing the organization at industry events.
  • Engaging with professional bodies and participating in the creation of technical papers, presentations, and sector-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in building code consultancy or a related field, coupled with a solid understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, and performance-based design principles. Additionally, they will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail, and a collaborative, proactive, and commercially astute approach.
