Building Code Expert

The role of a Technical Consultant is to deliver high-quality building code services, combining technical expertise with project management and client engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering assessments, compliance strategies, performance solutions, and reports.
- Managing projects from scoping and programming to financial tracking and variation management.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff, supporting technical consistency and team development.
- Acting as the day-to-day contact for allocated projects, building strong relationships with architects, developers, certifiers, and contractors.
- Contribute to proposals and represent the company at industry functions.
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Alignment with company values (integrity, teamwork, growth, flexibility, innovation).
- Proven experience in building code consultancy or a related field.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver medium-to-large projects independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
