Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Manufacturing & Assembly Manager to lead and elevate the performance of our fabrication, electrical, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) departments across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams – fostering a culture of excellence, honesty, and harmony cross-functionally.
  • Oversee tactical execution of day-to-day operations across multiple sites in Australia.
  • Ensure accountability for financial outcomes, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), downtime, and throughput.
  • Deliver strategic initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and team performance.
  • Optimize workflows and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement in manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align operational goals with broader business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality benchmarks.
  • Manage contracts obligations effectively.

Requirements:

  • Highly experienced in multi-disciplined electrical manufacturing environments.
  • Tertiary qualification in project management or business management, in addition to trade-related or engineering qualifications.
  • Desirable experience of power system production, products, and equipment, electrical infrastructure, and balance of plant (HV, LV).
  • Strong interpersonal leadership skills and experience.
  • Effective project management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial contract management and negotiation skills.
