About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail arm, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will be responsible for coaching effective selling and customer service skills to our store team members, collaborating closely with our Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the retail arm, including staff scheduling and inventory management;
  • Coach and develop store team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service;
  • Collaborate with Optometrists to deliver a seamless customer experience;
  • Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and employee engagement;
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Store Manager or higher retail management position;
  • Able to demonstrate experience working with budgets and scheduling staff in compliance with local labour laws;
  • Prior experience in the optical industry is helpful but not essential;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to think on your feet and make good decisions;
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and coach team members.
