The Role:

As a Senior Retail Manager at Sydney Airport, you'll inspire and support store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence across multiple locations.

You will lead a team of approximately 100 people, including up to 5 store managers, and manage store operations & performance with accountability.

You will coach, mentor & grow your teams to be their best, drive sales through strong leadership & goal setting, build a positive, respectful team culture, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth daily operations.

You will also ensure all visual and presentation standards are on point, have previous experience leading retail teams in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

A polished, professional presence and positive attitude are required, as well as proven ability to inspire, coach and empower team members. Flexibility to work a rotating roster is necessary, as is valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a team of store managers and assistant managers to achieve business objectives
  • Managing store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and employee development
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
