Drive Sales Performance and Market Share

As a Sales Associate at Alcon, you will be responsible for managing an assigned customer portfolio and driving sales performance and market share through regular remote contact with customers. Your goal will be to build, negotiate, and execute customer business plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute business plans and drive achievement of sales targets for assigned customers over the phone and virtually using remote sales applications.
  • Research, review, and evaluate customer information to identify value and potential aligning with country strategy.
  • Execute contact plans with a consultative selling approach, developing and applying understanding of customer organization and networks to reach key decision makers and influencers.
  • Deploy and use approved marketing and sales promotional materials and programs, using expert knowledge of Alcon and competitor products' features to support sound clinical and business discussions.
  • Engage in contract renewals as needed, generate leads on "Marlö" for the Digital team, and record activities in the CRM system according to instructions.
  • Maintain, review, and action performance data to drive performance, working within Integrity and Compliance policies and all other company policies.
Requirements:
  • 1 year sales experience by telephone.
  • Proven target-driven sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Multi-channel selling experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and demonstrate sensitivity and awareness to other people.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-starter, team player, results-oriented.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Customer focus.
  • Ability to read sales data and interpret trends.
