Regulatory Assessment Officer

We are seeking two APS6 Regulatory Assessment Officers to join our dynamic team due to a restructure.

The selected candidates will contribute to the development of policy, procedures and standards. They will also undertake quality checks on assessments or work completed by others.

The successful applicants will have expertise in the automotive sector, risk management, compliance, regulation, manufacturing and/or engineering.

In this role, you will liaise with Industry and Government agencies including state and territory regulators and other Australian Government agencies.

You will be responsible for analysing and assessing information gathered as a result of assessment and assurance activities.

Australian citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher are encouraged to apply.

This is an initial 6 month non-ongoing contract with a possible extension, offering an attractive salary banding, employee benefits, flexibility, on the job training and support and career opportunities for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Qualifications or demonstrated experience in the automotive sector, risk management, compliance, regulation, manufacturing and/or engineering.
  • Australian citizenship.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
