About This Role

We seek a Logistics Technical Expert to provide technical guidance and support for the E7 Australia Wedgetail program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver logistics and technical services as directed by the E7 Australia Wedgetail Program Manager.
  • Action daily tasks including identification requests relating to new items of supply.
  • Action unscheduled updates and maintenance of Australian Defence Aviation Authorised Spares System (ADAASS).
  • Process data amendments / corrections within ERP, and other Commonwealth Logistics Applications.
  • Action routine Technical Substitution and undertake amendments as required.
  • Action identification and logistics requirements for Special Technical Instructions / Modifications (STIs / MODs) and Deviations.
  • Provide interrogations and interpretations of engineering technical drawings and specifications.
  • Action unscheduled maintenance on the Hazard Materials List.
  • Action unscheduled reviews of Computer Aided Maintenance Management 2 (CAMM2) EE400 change requests or alternate Maintenance management system.
  • Review and analyse Aeronautical Defect and Deficiency Reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Aircraft maintenance engineer certification (CERT IV - mechanical, avionics or structures)
  • Ability to integrate into established teams and work in an inclusive environment
  • Top-level attitude, a desire to learn, work hard and become an integral member of the team that supports a critical Defence capability
