
Multidisciplinary Team Service Manager

We are seeking a confident, values-driven leader to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality services to children, youth, and families in statutory care.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience leading a team in a care or support setting.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and child development.
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection and out-of-home care systems, including familiarity with relevant legislation.
- Experience working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff, children, young people, families, and communities in an organisational context.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee intake, assessment, and care planning processes.
- Supervise and mentor support workers and practitioners.
- Collaborate with families, carers, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
- Promote culturally safe services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service innovation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in child protection or youth/family services.
- A current driver's licence.
- A current National Police Certificate, Working with Children (Blue Card), Child Safety, and Personal History Screening Check (LCS) – or ability to acquire.
