Underground mining is a dynamic and challenging work environment that requires individuals with strong operational skills to support the installation of ground support systems.

The role of an underground truck operator or nipper involves assisting in the installation of bolts and mesh, operating dump trucks to haul ore and waste, and conducting pre-starts on equipment/vehicles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the installation of ground support systems
  • Operating dump trucks to transport ore and waste
  • Conducting pre-starts on equipment/vehicles

Requirements for Success

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:

  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last three months)
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Relevant experience as an underground truck operator or nipper
