Underground Mining Operations Specialist

Barminco is seeking an experienced Underground Mining Operations Specialist to join our team in the mining industry. This exciting opportunity will appeal to skilled individuals looking for a new challenge in a dynamic work environment.

Job Description

As an Underground Mining Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of underground mining equipment. Your primary role will be to operate and maintain agitators to achieve optimal performance and efficiency while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain agitators to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall workflow
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in underground mining operations
  • Experience working with similar equipment types (desirable)
  • Valid and relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements including medical clearance, DAS, NPC, and valid HR Driver's License
