Job Description

**Project Control Lead**

We are seeking an experienced Project Control Lead to join our team at Monadelphous. As a key member of our Engineering and Construction division, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Commercial Teams: Collaborate with Company and Contractor Commercial teams to ensure timely notifications of payment claims.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Provide a focal point within the Project Controls team for accurate forecasting on cost and revenue, earned value, and quantity KPIs.
  • Change Management: Lead and drive change management, clearly demonstrating the impact to both Project Schedule and Budget.
  • Cost Validation: Validate costs against the Project Budget and potential variations.
  • Project Controls Reporting: Manage the Project Controls Reporting, including S-Curves, Earned Value histograms, and manning forecast and weekly earned progress.
  • Project Progress Measurement: Manage the weekly Project progress measurement, including Quantity Manhour reporting, SPI and CPI variances.
  • Schedule Integration: Integrate and align P6 Schedule with Contract quantities and manhours.
  • Schedule Delay Analysis: Utilize Schedule Delay Analysis and forensic planning methods.
  • Project WBS and Coding: Deliver project WBS and coding structure (OBS, WBS, CBS, WP) to control costs, hours, and schedule.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification: A Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Trade Qualification is desirable.
  • Senior Construction/Project Controls Role: At least 3 years in a senior construction/project controls role with recognized operations or construction management experience in the related multi-discipline scopes.
  • Diagnostic Tools and Technology: Experience in the use of various diagnostic tools and a track record of seeking technology solutions as an enabler for improvement.
  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and lead strategies and initiatives to foster innovation.
  • Operational Site Experience: Proven hands-on operational site experience with a proven track record in similar role on previous large-scale complex maintenance contracts.
  • ERP Systems and Primavera P6: Proven extensive experience and/or training in ERP systems, Primavera P6, and/or other Systems.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen ensuring responsibility for key deliverables and incorporating report preparation and presentation.
  • Interpersonal and Verbal Communication Skills: Interpersonal and verbal communication skills – establishing client relationships, making group presentations, communicating effectively with site personnel.
  • Methodical and Attention to Detail: Is methodical, pays attention to detail, and takes responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work and meeting deadlines.
  • Critical Path Analysis and Extension of Time Claims: Demonstrated understanding of Critical Path analysis and Extension of Time claims.
