Transportation Network Specialist

As a Traffic Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the City's transportation network operates efficiently and safely.
The team works under the strategic intent of the City's Corporate Plan and implements the Gold Coast City Transport Strategy 2031. We collaborate with partners to plan and manage the transport system as one network.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing solutions to complex traffic management issues
- Conducting field investigations using autonomous technology
- Reviewing infrastructure design drawings for compliance with industry standards
- Designing signage and line marking plans
- Auditing road safety and investigating crashes
- Liaising with stakeholders and service providers
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience and knowledge
- An unrestricted Class C driver's license
- A WHS License General Construction White Card
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
