Logistics and Warehousing Professional

A leading Engineering and Training Organisation seeks an experienced Logistics professional to join their team based in Scoresby.

  • This full-time role will work across the company, providing day-to-day operational support.
  • The successful candidate will have 2+ years' experience in warehousing and logistics, meeting the following key requirements:
  • Forklift Licence (mandatory)
  • Drivers licence (mandatory)
  • Ability to use hand and power tools i.e. drills, circular saw and angle grinder (mandatory)
  • Good mechanical aptitude (mandatory)
  • A commitment to following best practice Health and Safety protocols
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Good communication, both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated with ability to set and prioritise tasks
  • Proactive team player
  • Ability to weld an advantage
  • Commitment to ongoing training
Responsibilities:
  • Warehousing: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organising deliveries, as well as maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
  • Logistics: Ensure all Training course resources are packed and sent in a timely manner according to the training schedule.
  • General assistance: Use of hand and power tools (drills, circular saw, angle grinder, bandsaw) and similar equipment to support or help prepare work by other employees in the compliance and consulting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Packing and dispatching Training course resources on time
  • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
  • Providing general assistance to other teams using hand and power tools
