About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at a state-of-the-art hospital in Southport on the Gold Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to bring their skills and expertise to our Bariatric Ward.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered. They will be responsible for providing safe, evidence-based nursing care and supervising and guiding nursing team members. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care and promote a positive patient experience
  • Supervise and guide nursing team members to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Educate and support patients in recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 12 months' experience as an RN in an acute setting
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
