Position Details

A key leadership role involves co-ordinating and delivering policy, advocacy, government relations and corporate communications activities within a robust framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the property industry in TAS.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to support long-term goals and objectives.
  • Lead public debates on relevant industry issues.
  • Advocate for the property industry in TAS.
  • Develop policy positions and research to support industry interests.
  • Design and execute advocacy and campaign strategies.
  • Partner with Membership and Partnerships to retain and attract members.
  • Establish a TAS event program providing value to members and commercial returns.
  • Contribute positively to the overall performance of the Executive Committee and VIC/TAS leadership group.
Requirements

A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in a similar leadership role is required, along with exceptional communication and negotiation skills, inclusive leadership style and superior experience of complex processes.
