Job Overview: We are seeking an Earned Travel & Luxury Account Manager to join our dynamic team and produce exceptional work that elevates our clients' profiles. In this role, you will engage with a prestigious portfolio of travel and luxury brands, collaborating with some of the most recognized names in the industry.

ROLE DETAILS

The Account Manager will collaborate closely with Account Directors to ensure the delivery of high-quality work throughout client program development, execution, and evaluation, while consistently meeting and surpassing campaign objectives. This position also plays a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities for the agency.

To excel in this role, you must stay informed about the latest trends in culture, travel, and luxury. You should possess a keen understanding of compelling storytelling and have established media connections, demonstrated through your agency experience.

Additionally, you will need to exhibit autonomy, sound judgment, adaptability, and accountability in managing client activities and guiding junior team members involved in their execution.

This position reports directly to an Account Director, with whom you will work closely on a daily basis, and requires a commitment to both personal and team performance outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients
  • Conduct thorough research on clients' businesses and industries to remain informed about trends and developments, providing counsel to clients in collaboration with senior management
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with assigned clients and their stakeholders, including media and third-party influencers
  • Develop foundational communications and earned media strategies for clients, contributing to more complex initiatives
  • Present strategies and programs effectively to clients
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare and regularly update detailed project plans, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of objectives
  • Continuously assess programs to ensure all deliverables are met and propose new initiatives as necessary
  • Independently manage small to medium-sized accounts in consultation with senior managers

QUALIFICATIONS

Skills:

  • Lead junior teams assigned to clients
  • Plan and create written materials
  • Support the development of comprehensive communications plans
  • Manage client relationships
  • Exhibit creativity in strategy development
  • Oversee media relations, social media activities, and events
  • Manage communication measurement and evaluation tasks
  • Ensure client profitability through budget management
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities

Minimum Requirements:

  • A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience and connections within the media landscape, particularly in news, lifestyle, luxury, food and beverage, and travel sectors
  • A minimum of four years of full-time experience in an agency or similar environment, demonstrating the ability to perform tasks to a high standard
