Game Day & Events Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Live Sports and Event Manager to lead the planning, management, and execution of all game day and major event experiences for our organization.

This critical role is responsible for delivering unforgettable experiences for fans, partners, and players alike. As the primary point of contact on game day, you will manage entertainment and logistics, coordinate with governing bodies, venue operators, and our broader football operations teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all operational aspects of Game Day & Major Events;
  • Leading and executing Panthers games and major events, including remote/regional games;
  • Building run sheets, MC scripts, and managing sports presentation delivery;
  • Overseeing match day contractors, game day personnel, and access management;
  • Collaborating with broadcast partners and external stakeholders;
  • Coordinating season launch & presentation nights, and other internal events;
  • Ensuring accurate budget compliance, invoice reconciliation, and operational reporting;
  • Managing field hire, Academy bookings, and facilities support;
  • Acting as the primary player liaison for player appearance management;

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in event management, ideally in sport or live entertainment;
  • Tertiary qualifications in event management or significant relevant work experience;
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to perform under pressure;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal;
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, games days, and outside standard hours during events.
