Electrical Maintenance Technician Position

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Inverell Processing Facility. This role offers a wide range of preventative and reactive maintenance in ensuring our production facility has minimal downtime and operates as efficiently as possible.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure safety standards are always met (safety comes first).
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to keep things running like clockwork.
About You:
  • NNSW Electrical Licence.
  • Experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of motor controls, PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Well-developed fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand production processes and requirements.
  • Ability to work as part of a rotating roster and undertake weekend maintenance work.
